2026 Fall Season Information:

 Participants in the MJE Cheer Program must live in the Fulton County School Zone for Milton High School.  ONLY if your home school does not currently have a Feeder Cheer Program, can we consider participants outside of this zoning.

Feeder Cheer requires a demanding time commitment.  There are several options to customize your experience.  We offer Competition, Saturday Sideline, and Wednesday Sideline (New for 2026) options.  Cheerleaders can elect to try out for one or multiple squads, but must pre-select the squad(s) they wish to be considered for.  Once selected for a squad, you are obligated to take the spot, except for Wednesday Sideline.  In determining the best option(s), please review the descriptions and commitments for each squad below:

• Saturday Sideline:

  • Squads learn and perform the same cheers used by Milton High School squads and perform them on the sidelines during the Regular Season Saturday Games. 

  • During the Saturday games, they perform sideline stunting on the track.

  • These cheerleaders practice Monday AND Thursday

  • These squads also perform choreographed Halftime routines involving complex stunting and tumbling as well as integrated cheers and dance. 

  • They will attend a Choreo Camp July 19-22, and a Stunt Camp May 16-17

  • Tumbling is not required for this squad, but encouraged. 

  • Squads are built by grade with one squad each for 6th, 7th, and 8th, who cheer for the associated Milton Feeder Football team of the same age group.

• Wednesday Sideline:

  • Cheerleaders learn and perform the same cheers used by Milton High School squads and perform them on the sidelines during the Wednesday Games. 

  • During the Wednesday games, they perform sideline stunting on the track.

  • These cheerleaders practice Mondays

  • They will attend a Stunt Camp May 16-17

  • Tumbling is not required for this squad. 

  • This is not aligned by grade, and instead is more loosely comprised of 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. 

  • This is a perfect option for those that have availability restrictions that prevent them from meeting the time commitments for Saturday Sideline and Competition Squads.

• Competition:

  • This squad learns, perfects and performs a 2.5 minute custom designed routine involving extremely complex Stunting, Tumbling, and Choreography at various Competitions throughout the State (always on Saturdays).

  • Practice for this squad is Wednesdays in the summer at Stingray Forsyth, and Mondays and Fridays at Northwestern MS during the school year.

  • They will attend a Choreo Camp June (TBD)

  • Round-off Back Handspring is a strongly encouraged for this squad, and Standing Tucks, Layouts and Fulls are helpful.

  • Placements on this squad are open to 6th, 7th, and 8th graders and are precisely compiled to ensure the necessary mix of talent to perform the competition requirements. 

  • There is only one competition squad.  The size of the squad is capped by GHSA Rules and the talent mix is critical to accomplish the necessary skill requirements for routines.

• HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Tryout Camp (All) - March 23-25th @ Northwestern Middle School. 4:30-6 pm daily.

• MANDATORY Tryouts (All) - Thursday, March 26th 4:30-6:30 pm @ Northwestern Middle School.  

• MANDATORY Sideline Stunt Camp (All Sideline) - May 16th 9-12 pm & May 17th 5-8 pm @ Stingray Forsyth

• MANDATORY Choreo Camp (Competition)- TBD June @ Stingray Forsyth 

• MANDATORY Sideline Jump Clinic & Choreo Camp (Saturday Sideline only) will be July 19th-22nd  9am-3pm @ Stingray Forsyth

• Sideline Summer Cheer Practices (All Sideline) will start in June on Mondays and in July Mondays & Thursdays @ Friendship Park. There will be morning and evening options to learn cheers.  Each cheerleader will be responsible for mastering their designated number of "cheer blocks" based on years of MJE experience.

• Competition Squad Summer Cheer Practices (Competition):  Every Wednesday from 3:30 - 5 pm starting June 3rd @ Stingray Forsyth.

• MANDATORY  Sideline Practices (All Sideline) will be August through October, Monday evenings at MHS 6:30-8p at Milton High School

• MANDATORY Sideline Practices (Saturday Sideline only) August through October, Thursday afternoons at Northwestern Middle School 4:30-6:30pm.

• MANDATORY Competition Squad Practices (Competition) will be 4:30 -6 pm Mondays and Fridays after school at Northwestern Middle School

• MANDATORY Sideline Games (Wednesday Sideline Only) will be a minimum of 5 Wednesdays through the  August-November season (times and locations TBD.  Please block your Wednesdays now.

• MANDATORY  Sideline Games (Saturday Sideline Only) will be every Saturday starting the last week in August-November (times and locations TBD but we WILL cheer on Labor Day Weekend and possibly during Fall Break and up to the weekend before Thanksgiving).  Please block your Saturdays now.

• MANDATORY Competitions (Competition) are on Saturdays September-October.  Block your Saturdays now.

• The Cheer Banquet (All Program Participants) is usually in early November.
